As a child Robert Risko had a fascination with faces and an unsurpassable ability to capture a likeness with a few telling lines. As a teenager he decided to bring that talent to New York City. At a time when most illustration being used was of a realistic nature, Risko until pop-artist Andy Warhol began to feature his work in Interview Magazine. Since then Risko has been a regular contributor to Vanity Fair, Time, Rolling Stone and The New Yorker, as well as having had two one-man shows in Hong Kong and New York.
