SEYMOUR CHWAST, born in 1931, is a Graphic Artist as well as Art Director and Illustrator in New York. After graduating from Cooper Union School (1951), he became one of the founders of Pushpin Studios (1954) and a New York tradition that found resonance far and away. Even the Louvre in Paris gave the Pushpin style a retrospective. Chwast’s honorary appointments include: President of the American institute of Graphic Arts and The New York Art Directors Club.
