HATCH Hybrid Antimicrobial BP & CC Set

A set of the matching Hybrid Ballpoint Pen & Etched Card Case with the "Hatch" design from designer and Karl Zahn. This pen and card case set is special in that it was designed to take advantage of the innate properties of brass and its remarkable ability to self sterilize. Within a few hours of contact with the brass ions, any bacteria or microorganism dies. This set comes in a tin designed to hold a bullet shaped pen and a card case. It comes with a black ballpoint refill and is packaged in a black paper sleeve.

The Hatch antimicrobial pen does not have the many layers of lacquer that most of our pens do, which makes the pen slightly thicker. Instead it is acid etched to achieve the design, which removes material and makes it slightly thinner, which causes the cap to not post. There is nothing wrong with the pen, this is inherent to this precision instrument as the intention of the designer was produce a pen that kills and does not share bacteria.
