GOLD DIPPED WHITE Hybrid Roller Ball

The "Gold Dipped - White" pen is the original color of this pen. The final production version we decided to go with is black, but we originally sampled this pen in white.

Here is designer Robert Stadler's inspiration for this design:
"When approaching this project I asked myself: "How could I possibly transform a boring white pen into something precious and desirable?" The idea was to simply dip the pen into liquid gold. But by doing so, one has to hold the pen on one end, which is why the gold doesn't cover its entire surface. The final design, rather than being another golden status symbol, literally represents the action of transformation, if not to say the alchemy.

This pen will packaged in a white ACME tin, and come with a standard black roller ball refill. Since this is a factory sample that never went into production, quantities are extremely low.
