When developing this design, we first did them using Mr. Sottsass’ exact hand drawn pencil lines. But when he saw them, he requested that “clean up” the lines, so only a few were ever made. These are our rarest Sottsass design earrings.
Handmade cloisonné earrings for pierced ears have a silver plate and stainless steel earring backs.

Please note: These were all hand made in the 1980s using the intricate cloisonné process. Any imperfections within the colors are to be expected and inherent to the process which makes each piece unique and special.
